Get to Know Ella – Creator of The Mind Plan Journal

You know those days when your mind feels restless and your body just can’t settle—when anxiety sits quietly in the background, making everything feel a bit more difficult? I know that feeling all too well. I’m Ella, the creator of The Mind Plan Journal, and for a long time I moved through life with a constant undercurrent of worry—thoughts racing, tension in my chest, and a sense that true calm was just a myth.
For years, I struggled with low self-esteem and found myself in situations and relationships that left me feeling small and lost. There were days I felt like I was just about keeping my head above water, and others when I had sunk entirely.
What changed for me was reaching a place of acceptance and realising that healing had to begin from within. I discovered the power of writing things down (alongside many other tools) in a way that helped me make sense of the chaos, challenge my own thoughts, and—slowly—start to be kinder to myself. Even on the messiest days, a few words could make me feel lighter.
By the time the idea for The Mind Plan Journal began, I had already experienced first-hand the benefits of therapy, meditation, mindfulness, and honest self-reflection. While working a 9–5 office job that didn’t align with what I truly needed, the vision for the journal started to take shape. In March 2024, I began pouring every possible hour into bringing The Mind Plan Journal to life.
For me, it was a powerful discovery that living in alignment with your true values and desires is genuinely possible—even if, like I once did, you feel completely lost or unsure of your purpose. No matter where you begin, finding clarity and a sense of direction is always within reach.
The Mind Plan Journal grew out of this need for something gentle and practical. I wanted a journal that didn’t just look nice on the bedside table (though, let’s be honest, it does look rather lovely), but actually helped me—and now, hopefully you—take small, meaningful steps towards feeling better. Whether you’re a seasoned journaler or someone who just likes the idea of a clean, inviting notebook, this is a space for you to find a bit of calm and clarity.
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, anxious, or just a bit “meh,” you’re in good company. The Mind Plan Journal isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about giving yourself permission to pause, reflect, and learn that you really DO matter.
Thank you for being here and for letting me share a bit of my journey with you. If you ever fancy a chat, my inboxes are always open.
