Hi, I’m Ella.
My journey with journaling really began after my life changed in 2019, following years of anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and feeling completely disconnected from myself.
During that time, people around me encouraged me to start writing things down — my thoughts, emotions, fears, and the things I couldn’t quite say out loud yet. At the time, it felt almost too simple to make a difference. But over time, I realised how powerful that process really was. Writing helped me slow down, untangle my thoughts, process difficult emotions, and reconnect with myself again.
Alongside therapy, I spent years exploring practices centred around reflection, grounding, mindfulness, and emotional awareness. Over time, journaling became less about “self-improvement” and more about creating a small daily space where I could breathe, reflect, and feel more present in my own life.
After working within the corporate recruitment world for several years, I eventually experienced severe burnout in 2024 alongside ongoing anxiety and insomnia. It became increasingly clear that I needed to slow down and rebuild my relationship with myself and my mental wellbeing.
During that period, I searched endlessly for a journal that brought everything together in one place — structure and softness, emotional depth without overwhelm, guidance without pressure. Something beautiful enough to look forward to using, but practical enough to genuinely support everyday mental wellbeing.
I couldn’t find it.
So I decided to create it myself.
The Mind Plan Journal isn’t about perfection or productivity. It’s for anyone who wants to feel more connected to themselves, reduce mental overwhelm, build healthier habits, experience emotional growth, and create moments of stillness in an increasingly busy and noisy world.
Every page has been carefully designed with therapist-approved prompts, grounding daily check-ins, monthly reflections, and over 250 affirmations — all created to help you slow down and live more intentionally, one day at a time.
My story may be part of the journal’s roots, but the journal itself is for every woman who wants life to feel lighter, clearer, calmer, and more grounded — wherever she may be starting from.
One of the most unexpected joys of creating The Mind Plan Journal has been connecting with the women who use it. I’ve genuinely loved hearing people share their reflections, struggles, routines, and small personal wins along the way. If you ever feel like sharing your experience — or simply want to say hello — please know you’re always welcome to reach out to me.
If this journal can support someone even a fraction of how writing supported me, then every step of this journey has been worth it.
With love,
Ella

This journal is truly beautiful. It has been thoughtfully compiled through personal experiences and life challenges. The writing is excellent, and it is clear that a lot of care and consideration went into creating this journal.
